NEUROPATHY

NEUROPATHY

Peripheral neuropathy (PN) is a condition affecting the sensory nerves of the extremities, leading to pain, numbness, and tingling sensations.

It can result from various factors, including neurotoxic medications (such as chemotherapy), microvascular damage linked to metabolic syndromes like diabetes, and inflammatory processes associated with autoimmune disorders.

Evidence-based research found acupuncture enhances circulation, creates nerve regeneration, reduces inflammation, and alleviates pain.

We treat:

Chemo-therapy induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN)
Diabetic Neuropathy
Idiopathic Neuropathy
Hereditary Neuropathy
Autoimmune Neuropathy

As a renowned authority in treatment of the nervous system with electro-acupuncture, Dr. Chiang was asked by the President of the Acupuncture Now Foundation (https://acunow.org/acupuncture-for-peripheral-neuropathy/), to create a course that certifies acupuncturists to treat PN.  This will offer PN sufferers greater access to qualified acupuncturists who can treat their PN.

Dr. Chiang conducts workshops (https://healthyseminars.com/product/treatment-peripheral-neuropathy-electro-acupuncture-diagnosis-mechanisms-and-treatment) worldwide to train acupuncturists on how to assess and treat PN with electrical acupuncture.

He provides treatment strategies for complex PN symptoms such as balance disturbances, gait abnormalities, and loss of fine motor function.
