Poney Che Chiang

Poney Chiang received a PhD in biomedical research from the Institute of Medical Science, University of Toronto, followed by a Master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health & Science in New York. He was the former Chair of the Herbal Medicine Department at the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine; former founding director of the Integrative Acupuncture Certificate Program for the Faculty of Health at York University (Toronto).

As a leading expert in neuro-anatomy of acupoints and advanced needle techniques, Poney has been invited to lecture and conduct workshops in North/South America, Europe and Australia since 2013.  He was invited by the Acupuncture Now Foundation to develop training course to teach acupuncturist on how to treat peripheral neuropathy with electro-acupuncture. 

In 2024, he was the keynote speaker for the Australasian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Annual Conference, where he was recognized for Best presentation on acupuncture; Best presentation on research; and Best presentation of the symposium. He was awarded Excellence in Research & Teaching by the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine for his contribution in advancing the TCM profession.

Emiko Kanematsu

Emiko provides quality alternative health care based on Traditional Chinese Medicine combined with her knowledge and experience in Western Medicine.  She uses acupuncture and/or herbal medicine to improve general health, relieve pain, and treat woman’s health issues.

Alex Lin

Alex comes from a family lineage of TCM practitioners. He is a 4th generation TCM practitioner in his family. His attention to detail and compassionate nature makes him develop the ability to be a well-balanced healer. Due to the environment that he has grown up in, he has had contact with TCM since childhood. He has had apprentice experience in multiple private TCM clinics and hospitals in Taiwan and Canada. In Taiwan, TCM practitioners are general physicians, so he adapts a similar style of practice conforming to the regulations of Canada.

He comes up with a treatment plan, according to traditional or modern modalities, to achieve optimal performance, enhanced well-being, management of conditions, improved quality of living either mentally or physically and the prevention of disease.
